Shame on OXO. This product is a waste of natural recources. Looked nice once installed, but difficult to operate, wouldn't tear consistantly, a pain to rewind, and the tab holding the crossbar broke during the first paper roll. Returned it. Bought a 'perfect tear' racheting undercounter type, love it!

I first bought this for my married daughter's kitchen, but she already had a paper towel holder, so I put it in my kitchen. I enjoyed it so much, I bought 3 more for three of my 4 bathrooms (this gives guests the option of a paper towel instead of the cloth towels, for sanitary purposes). I have enjoyed them so much for the practical applications, but also for the ease in usage and ease in re-installing a new roll of paper towels. So many times I only have one hand free, and it is so easy to remove a paper towel from this holder, whether I am in the kitchen with food prep or the bathroom with one of my grandchildren.
Customer Review: Simple with few parts to break
Excellent replacement for the lightweight wooden one we had. This thing has a robust weight that refuses to move, so one-handed use is possible. The underside has a felt backing that will keep it from marring any surface it placed on. The release on top is great, and not that pesky unscrew kind that no one likes and pretty much encourages all not to replace when the roll runs out. Now it's just a simple squeeze of the release mechanism, pull out expended tube and refresh with a new roll, and just click the handle back on. The looks speaks for itself, materials are good grade and handsome enough for any kitchen.

I bought this paper towel holder after reading the reviews. I also have a stainless steel kitchen. This holder is wonderful. It is attractive, sturdy, and holds my large paper towels without problems. It is also adjustable by pulling or pushing on the sides to be more loose or more tight a fit. I have it mounted under the cabinet in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms. You can't go wrong with this product.

Customer Review: My husband laughed, but it's worth every penny!
When I first unwrapped this for the holidays my husband laughed at me for such a "silly purchase". But after the dogs took a swim, I was amazed at how much easier it was to dry them with using Soggy Dog towels, as opposed to our standard ones. It's really just the little addition of the built in gloves for your hands that makes a quick "shimmy shimmy" on your dogs easy on your BACK! Also - unlike standard towels which fall off if you drape them over your dog for a moment, the Soggy Dog towels held fine while I switched between drying two 80lb Goldens! No easy feat prior.

I received my towel rack in a couple of days, in perfect condition As someone else mentioned, it was a little lighter in weight than I had anticipated, but it is doing the job well. It was easy to install and as I couldn't source it locally, I was quite pleased with the prompt turnaround. The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was the weight issue, but it is definitely suitable for the purpose and I am quite happy with my purchase.

I was doing some decorating in palm trees, and I ordered 4 of these thinking I would get what was described. when I got them, they were not 'embroidered' as per description. considering they are just 'stamped' towels, I personnally think they were a little pricey.
